We booked a room for a one night stay about a week before and when we turned up for the check in, they said their ACs are not working. They wasted our time and put us in a very difficult position. The staff was extremely unprofessional and they knew about the AC issue about 2 days prior to the booking but still didn’t inform us. We had to go in search of other places by ourselves. I will never go there. They gave us a very bad experience.

Stay here for transit only before heading back to Maldives. Nice and big room. Affordable. There was some renovation during my stay, and was too noisy during the day. There are many cafes and restaurant close by. The Front Desk is a nice one. Hot shower is not that hot enough or is that my skin (?) Haha. But overall, is worthy.

A lovely place in the quiet part of colombo. Pros Rooms are spacious and clean Quiet surroundings Staff are very courteous Lot of dining options close by Cons Breakfast is basic but filling. Has only a set menu

It was a lovely stay in Fern B&B. I love the room, it was clean, spacious, new and modern! I loved the minimalist style! Although breakfast was not available during the time that I stayed there due to the crisis, it’s totally understandable and besides there are a lot of cafes nearby. I used UberEats or Pick Me all the time. I appreciate all the staffs working there, they are all very nice and very accommodating to all my requests. I hope Sri Lanka will be in a better situation soon and I will definitely stay in Fern B&B again!

Omg! I cannot believe I was the last person to review this place. It’s the best place to stay in Colombo. This hotel is environmentally conscious. This hotel is immaculate. The rooms smell fresh and sweet. The staff cleans room every day. The shampoo and body gel is delightful. The lighting in the room is wonderfully ambient. It has all the graces of a luxury hotel yet it is so inexpensive. I can’t recommend this beautiful spot in Colombo 7 enough!!!
